METRO Renews GeoRoom On Demand for Right-of-Way Workflow

HOUSTON, TX, December 1, 2006 – R7 Solutions reached an agreement today with the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) for ongoing use of the company’s GeoRoom on demand service for real estate project management. The METRO GeoRoom provides step by step management of the land acquisition process both on the map and in specially-designed forms that comply with METRO standards, as well as providing an auditable record of agent contacts and negotiations.

The company will also be providing additional workflow enhancements to improve the appraisal process, negotiation record-keeping, and updates to the map drawing, labeling and reporting functions.

GeoRoom as implemented for METRO provides access to parcel ownership, municipal utility district and school district boundaries, floodplains, market research, and aerial photography. GeoRoom users can record notes, annotate locations, develop complex projects around locations and areas, and all information can be shared with other users with a built-in access and security management system.
