R7 Solutions Helps Get a Client Out of Hot Water

Houston, TX, May 1, 2009 – R7 Solutions was recently called upon to provide a rapid response on a complex technical problem that had a client in hot water.

“We called on R7 Solutions to help in the delivery of a water and sewer system mapping project that involved complex geometric networks,” said Ken Lawrence, PE, Senior Project Manager at Alan Plummer Associates, Inc.

“It was critical to this project that R7 Solutions was able to bring specific expertise in [ESRI] ArcGIS, data transformation and quality control. They found and used special geometric network management plug-ins for ArcGIS to deliver our solution,” said Lawrence.

Time was of the essence: “Their people worked over a weekend to ensure satisfactory and timely delivery,” said Lawrence.

“We were asked to fix a GIS database after another vendor had left the system in disarray,” said K. Lawrence Epperson, CEO of R7 Solutions.

“We were able to analyze the situation, evaluate the database, obtain special tools from ESRI to repair data inconsistencies, and then deliver a working geometric flow network for a large regional water system in a matter of a few days,” said Epperson.
