R7 Solutions Secures Contract to Provide Geospatial Business Intelligence Application for Waste Management

Houston, TX, November 1, 2008 – R7 Solutions today announced that it had secured a contract to provide a custom geospatial business intelligence and market analysis application for Waste Management, a Fortune 200 company based in Houston, Texas, as well as extensive data transformation and loading into a newly designed enterprise data warehouse the company is also providing.
Working with a specialty marketing consulting firm, the new GIS application and data warehouse environment will provide Waste Management with market mapping and reporting, sales prospect analysis, penetration mapping, detailed segmentation, and market area visualization.
The custom application will allow market analysts to directly manipulate report criteria, export to a variety of formats, and support high resolution printing.
Automation built into the application will allow hundreds of maps and reports to be generated in minutes by a single analyst for instant delivery to individual marketing personnel and salespeople.
The project will include the transformation and loading of millions of geocoded records into an enterprise database environment, integrated with GIS software from ESRI to provide mapping.
