GeoRoom Licensed for Land Acquisition by Top Ten US Homebuilder

HOUSTON, TX, September 15, 2003 – R7 Solutions announced today that Centex Homes, one of the ten largest homebuilders in the US, has purchased a license to GeoRoom, the company’s flagship business process management and mapping application.
The contract includes implementation and customization to support the company’s land research and acquisition process, as well as fully managed hosting services. The system will be replacing a manual, paper-based system that saw land agents and market researchers compiling hundreds of pages of parcel and land data reports by hand for preparation of proposals sent to the land acquisition department.

GeoRoom will allow the company to automate much of the basic data collection, as we as streamlining and integrating a wide variety of important and high-value data sets used in the market research process.

As a part of implementation, GeoRoom will be loaded with extensive market data, parcel data and aerial photography for the state of Texas.
