Senior Energy Information Technology Executive Appointed to Board of Advisors

HOUSTON, TX – August 12, 2005 – R7 Solutions announced the appointment of Patrick Talley, a senior energy information technology executive to the company’s Board of Advisors today. Mr. Talley brings a wealth of experience to the company, including 17 years as an enterprise software and systems sales and marketing executive.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Talley served as a sales executive for Landmark Graphics, the leading supplier of integrated E&P technical and economic software and services to support decision making about finding, drilling and producing oil and gas. Mr. Talley served as a top producing sales executive at Landmark Graphics until 1995 when he joined Trilogy Software.

He spent 6 years at Trilogy helping to grow that company into one of the largest e-commerce enablement companies in the US.

In 2001, Mr. Talley joined Aviri, Inc., an early stage knowledge management and human potential consulting firm where he worked with best-selling authors and innovators, Bijoy Goswami and Bruce Krysiak, to bring the company’s unique value proposition to market. Mr Talley is an expert in the company’s methodology, based on Goswami’s 2004 book, The Human Fabric.

Returning to the energy industry in 2004, he joined Wellogix as a Vice President, where he worked to sell the company’s Complex Services Management (CSM) suite, a complete solution for the planning, procurement and payment of complex oil field services. The system provides components for engineering, procurement and financial functions in the oil field services context. The system can be delivered as an on-demand or stand-alone product. Clients include Marathon Oil, BP and Flint Energy.

Mr. Talley returned to Landmark Graphics as a Managing Partner in 2006 where he currently manages a diverse national sales team focused on the company’s information technology and integration products.

Mr. Talley also has experience as a private investor in early stage technology companies, including online real estate services.

Mr. Talley currently provides expertise to R7 Solutions on development and delivery to market of its enterprise business process management, knowledge management and GIS solutions, as well as advice in recruiting and hiring.
